What is new in Minecraft Dungeons II gameplay?

Xbox Wire’s official hands-on coverage describes several major changes to the sequel. The world is a fixed, interconnected space dotted with dungeons rather than only a series of discrete selected missions. Players can also jump, giving exploration another movement option.

How does the build system work?

The sequel does not use a fixed class choice. Instead, the build comes from gear that the player combines:

SystemConfirmed setup
WeaponsOne melee and one ranged weapon
ArmorFour armor slots
ArtifactsThree active ability slots
TalismansThree passive-bonus slots
EnchantmentsUsed to further shape the build

The complete names, stats, rarities, and drop sources for most individual pieces are not public. Read Gear for the information architecture rather than a fabricated item database.

What has gameplay shown about co-op?

Official pages confirm parties of up to four players in online or couch co-op. Xbox Wire also described local play, online friends, matchmaking, and combinations of those modes. See Co-op for the confirmed feature wording.

What has not been confirmed?

The exact endgame loop, all progression systems, difficulty modifiers, skill trees, loot rarities, and full enemy roster remain incomplete in public material. This is intentional: pre-release pages should distinguish demonstrated mechanics from assumed ones.
