Does Minecraft Dungeons II have classes?

No fixed class selection has been announced. Xbox Wire’s official hands-on report says the player shapes a hero through the gear they curate, expanding build expression while retaining the approachable action-RPG structure of the original.

What makes a build?

Build pieceConfirmed role
Melee and ranged weaponsCore offensive choices
Four armor slotsDeeper customization
Three ArtifactsActive abilities or spells
Three TalismansPassive bonuses

Is there a best build yet?

No reliable best-build ranking should exist before the released game supplies complete gear names, effects, drop sources, balance rules, and boss behaviour. This wiki will add build pages when their recommendations can be tied to evidence and a game version.

What is a confirmed build example?

Xbox Wire’s demo account is the clearest example so far: a dog-companion Talisman paired with a weapon enchantment that could create regeneration spots after kills. It demonstrates the kind of interaction the system can support; it is not a final tier-list verdict.

How will future builds be structured?

Each verified build page will specify its weapon, armor, Artifact, Talisman, enchantment choices, intended playstyle, boss context, version, alternatives, and evidence source. That makes it possible to revise a build after balance changes without rewriting unrelated guides.
